Truck 12

Truck 12 is a 1997 Seagrave Patriot 100' tiller with 6-man extended cab, equipped with a Detroit Series 60-6 cylinder turbocharged Detroit Diesel, Allison HD-4060PR 5 speed automatic transmission. It carries a full complement of truck company equipment, including ladders, fans, lighting, saws, and hooks. In addition, it is equipped as a "rescue truck", carrying a full set of Hurst hydraulic extrication tools (cutters, spreaders, and rams), Vetter Air Bags, and cribbing.

Truck 12 serves an area with many mid- and high-rise buildings, including the Berkshire Towers and the area research labs. This unit is first or second due to a large surrounding region, including portions of Prince George's County.
