Nov. 18, 2007: Laundry Room Fire in 15's Area
E724 and A712 assisted at a laundry room fire at 15421 Aylesbury St. in Burtonsville.

Nov. 17, 2007: Box 24-8 First Due Fire
A basement fire was reported at 717 Hollywood Ave. at 11:15PM. HVFD responded with E724, E712 and A724, with M712 on the RID.

Nov. 12, 2007: Tragic Accident in 24's First Due
An accident on Bonifant Road involving an underage teenage driver and three teen passengers left one person dead. Responding units included E724 and A724. Details at WJLA.

Oct 2007: Truck 12 Out for Repairs
Truck 12, our 1997 Seagrave 100' tiller, is temporarily out of service to have a new ladder installed. In the meantime, truck company service will be provide by Truck 15 and a Tower Ladder place at Station 16.

Welcome to the homepage of
the Hillandale Volunteer Fire Department, located in Montgomery County, Maryland, just north of Washington, DC. Originally established in 1941,
the HVFD currently operates out of two stations along New Hampshire Avenue, covering the neighborhoods of Hillandale, White Oak, and Colesville.
The HVFD is a mixed career/volunteer department that is part of the
Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Service.
